I am sad to relate that Ken passed away on Tuesday 16 March, peacefully at home from natural causes. He was 91 years old.
Ken joined 611 in 1937 and spent many war years with the Squadron and was Secretary of the 611 Squadron Association for many, many years. He passed the Squadron records and memorabilia to me for safe keeping and I promised to him that I would do everything possible to keep the memory of 611 alive, which I intend to do.
Ken was cremated on Thursday 25th March at Colwyn Bay crematorium and a floral tribute was sent on behalf of the Squadron
Ken was a wonderful man and spent a huge amount of time and energy on Squadron affairs.
