Vernon’s grand daughter contacted Aldon and put him back in touch with Vern and Dennis Flentje; Julian Mitchell is in direct contact. Vern is well and living in Chiltern, Northern Victoria, some three hours driving from Melbourne. It is hoped to put photos and more information about Vern’s time with 611 onto this site shortly.
